PORTSCATHO HOLIDAY DAY THREE:

Today we decided to take a trip down the road to St Mawes, another part of Cornwall we had not yet been to in our years of visiting. The town has a few unique shops with lovely gifts and souvenirs sold in them, and plenty of cafes, pubs and places to buy and eat food. The weather wasn't the best for a couple of hours and a sudden downpour had us rushing to find somewhere to shelter! We came across 'The Victory Inn' which allowed us to take Samson (our dog) in with us, so we sat in there and had a drink. It was really quaint inside, and Samson was treated just as well as us and was given a dog biscuit by one of the staff members! This definitely made him feel more at home as he proceeded to fall asleep under the table!
After the stop, we continued back on our walk to St Mawes Castle. The views were beautiful, and I found myself taking photos at every turn to get all different angles and views out to the sea!
It was such a lovely afternoon out, and we will definitely be going back another time- perhaps when it's not raining so much though!
